I received an email which claimed to be addressed from ebay:
From: aw-verify@ebay.com
Reply-To: aw-verify@ebay.com
To: xxxxx@starpoint.net
Subject: TKO NOTICE: Your eBay Account
Date: Fri, 29 Oct 2004 09:28:12 -0700
It requested my account information. This message originated from a fraudulant source. Please be aware that such companies as Ebay, paypal and banks will never ask you to sign into your account using a provided URL or ask you to verify your account information via email.

According to Yahoo, the House has Okayed a bill to impose fines for "Spyware"
